Ref Stretch

Acrylic and glass beads on 16” × 20” canvas with wire intended to be hung without frame.

Ref Stretch is a part of my series exploring the dichotomous joy and fear of living in Boston, Massachusetts during the government crackdown. Red lights strobe alongside disco music as hockey referees come out to stretch before the game. For a few hours, if one does not check their phone, life is normal.

On display at Propeller Art Gallery February 11th through March 1st. Available for purchase through gallery for $900 CAD.
